I am very new to Taxi, and have had only one song critiqued so far. What is the average that most people get on their ratings? I had all 7s for this song and want to know how good that really is. Do they make us "feel good" by giving us high marks, but still return it, or are these ratings actually worth something?

So try not to link the scores you get with anything to do with getting forwarded or returned. I think most returns are because of not targeting the listing correctly as opposed to anything musical or production-wise.I get a pretty high percentage of forwards and I usually get 7's, mostly 8's and a few 9's here and there. It's not completely uniform... different screeners will perceive the scoring thing differently. Still... 7's and 8's are very good and if the music is on target, that's good enough to eventually get your music forwarded and placed. Another way to look at it (the way I looked at it)... if I'm getting 7's and 8's then for the most part, I just really need to focus on targeting the listing.HTH,Dave
