Re: Love Showed Up Today
Very good song as usual mate, but that's not what I came to say, I've got a bone to pick with you. For the last week or so, I've had Shade & a Shadow buzzing around in my head and I can't shake it off. I even tried to exorcise it with a few live versions of Comfortably Numb, that usually does the trick, but not this time.I need help, thereapy or something.
It's a fine line between a thick soup and stew.

Haven't tried the live version of Comfortable Numb though. That's a good idea Don't know how I feel about the whistling. See what the others say.Liam

Hi,I think the arrangement is very similar to Hilary Duff´s Come Clean. To make this sound like (Timbaland era) Furtado would require quite big changes melodically and lyrically too IMHO. Maybe the song sounds so much like Duff to me that I´m kind of stuck with that - JH

Re: Love Showed Up Today
Hi, ho Geo here, Songwriter, man, sweet!! I like the production, kind of fits the words (and the whistling ). I had two minor points:The cadence of the first line doesn't match with the pattern that sets up after it which is nice. Seems like a couple two many words and the delivery seems rushed, andThough I like the whistle I would pull it back during the verses, so it doesn't compete with the vocal.I love the instrumentation, very mood setting and of course my continued jealousy of your sound !! Peace out... Geo
