I found a post on Personal Orchestra. This has the ability to add individual instruments. However, I don't know how cpu intensive this is or how good it is. If you've used it I would like to know. If it does the job the price is right. The link is: http://www.garritan.com/products/person ... -benefits/ If it doesn't take substantial dsp then it opens up the possibility to add slight dynamic changes through out the section. When your working with a sample that covers the entire section then this impossible.

I read this article and it was done in 2010 which is 4 years ago. He used several libraries for his posted work. I'm not sure if it's current for today. I've been thinking of another issue. This is better noted as "the second note". It's is to say that if each note in succession is the same sample then it's more like the film the film again and the film again all on separate notes as an example - not about the transition of the legato note. I will start another post about this. I'm wondering if keys switching is a way to go. As far as section strings go; I've started a Kontakt string section of solo strings where each can be controlled separately. This is using the same sample or sample group from note to note.
