recording studios in Manhattan, NYC

Hi everyone,
Does anyone who lives in Manhattan, NYC know of a reputable studio or producer in this area?
I'm not much of a button pusher.

I'm not sure what you're looking for but for a basic recording with a keyboard and vocal booth, I use Art at Polemus Studios in the West Fifties. He's unusual in that he' does not use a computer, it's all hardware. He's very good and very reasonable.

Tell us more as to what you are looking to do. Are you looking to hire out the full music production? There are many work for hire studios and even folks here that do that. Location is not relevant there. All you would need is a rough recording, can be as simple as an iPhone recording. Or if you are looking for a place to record your song yourself, local references (like already on this thread) are good.

In general, geography has become a non issue for most of us. I've been collaborating, hiring out for 20 years now, all by internet and email.

I just saw this now! I was quite sick with covid in '21. Caught it again, recently. I've been out of commission for quite some time.
Thanks for your reply. I have garage band, but, I don't know if it is considered 'Broadcast Quality' anymore.
