Of course I don't have the resources you saw in the video, so there will be adjustments, but it's brilliant, in that they've broken out the tracks so you can hear the amount of reverb, murk and grit being applied to each instrument and vocal.

Enjoyed watching that - top class musicians.

I think they did a great job in sounding like 60s motown might have done if they had today's tech available but with their 60s ears and taste - i.e their sound with added fidelty.

Yeah, I subscibe to Reverb on YT and saw this when it came out. Its really an incredible project, and a very inspiring video.

Great video.

But what they left out was the great songs that were composed there. That more than anything created the Motown sound.

Brilliant!!! Thank you for sharing!

They did leave out mastering, though. And the fact that this was going to vinyl, where a loud bass would make the needle jump. I think today there would have been much higher levels on the bass.
