We're seeing a HUGE demand for AUTHENTIC RECORDINGS from the 1950s and 1960s! So dust off those old gems because we're assembling compilations of your VINTAGE recordings. You can find this listing under the Rock genre in the Submit Music section of your TAXImusic.com hosting site. We'll need your music no later than Monday, December 17, 2012, 12:30PM PST.
We're looking for ORIGINAL ROCK and ROCK/POP SONGS and INSTRUMENTALS in ALL styles. From ROCKABILLY, DOO-WOP, MALT SHOP OLDIES, JUKE JOINT STOMPERS to SURF ROCK, BRITISH INVASION, NOVELTY ROCK, GARAGE ROCK, FOLK ROCK, PSYCH ROCK, etc. ALL TEMPOS are welcome. We only need material ACTUALLY RECORDED in the 1950s and 1960s for this project. Pieces that sound stylistically similar to those decades but were recorded before or after them are NOT needed at this time. We want ACTUAL, VINTAGE recordings from those two decades.
If your piece is chosen, it will be pitched DIRECTLY to Music Supervisors, Ad Agencies and a Specialty Publisher who has been hitting home runs for our members this year. You MUST own or control 100% of the Master and Composition rights to submit for this listing. Original material only. NO COVERS please. As for sound quality, we need original recordings that are still usable. Please submit one to three songs or instrumentals online. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS.
