Great feedback, i am going to try this approach and do another mix.eeoo wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 3:44 pmI thought it was great, didn't hear it as a bridge at all. Super cool song, and intricate production. I'd be curious to hear a more stripped down production of it, it's pretty "thick" right now, a little hard to get to it's essence. And it could be that a more stripped down production has more potential for sync. Maybe? Would also be enlightening to see the listing and the full critique.
Nice work!

Doug, I really appreciate that! I might take an approach similar to this.douglasricketts wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 4:08 pmHey Joe, that's a catchy little ditty! I kinda get why the screener said the chorus sounds like a bridge but I also think from a listener's position it's fine the way you did it. They always want sync songs to build, build, build, right?
I'd love to read their entire feedback if you feel like posting it.
Thanks, Casey, you input is valuable and I always appreciate it. I got some great feedback for how to improve the mix. The original post is from listing: https://www.taxi.com/listings/S241104LFCasey H wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 5:50 pmHi Joe
Good song! Keep in mind that the screener's screen according to the specific listing. Please paste the text of the listing (not a link).
Many times, songs that don't have killer choruses are fine for sync. But a listing may call for songs with very strong choruses, and in that case, this wouldn't be a fit.
Best,
Casey
