Does anyone know if you can request a different screener.I agreed pretty much with the first critique, but would like to get another opinion before I make any changes.

Hi rick, yes you can do this, I've done it in the past. If submitting by mail, just include a note stating what you state in your post. I'm not on broadjam so I can tell you how to do it for broadjam submissions, but I would assume it's possible there as well.As long as the request is reasonable (and yours certainly is), Taxi will honor it whenever possible.matto

Hi,Wouldn't you be able to make that request especially when submitting for a "custom" critique? I almost always wait for several critiques before making changes unless the one critique really seems to hit home. I never gave a thought to having the same reviewer do a song twice until recently.I had a deal where I submitted a co-written song for several listings. The same reviewer reviewed both times, the second time saying "I remember this song from the other listing" then then pretty much gave me the same critique, which in the this particular case I didn't pay much attention to. Specifically he thought the percussion wasn't "modern". It was percussion beats provided directly from Stylus RMX so essentially he was saying that Eric Persing, the producer of Stylus RMX was "out of touch" in terms of a modern sound, which isn't a view shared by most of the percussion programming world.Anyway, what Matto said. Dave
