Return on "Big Orchestra" Dispatch

Post by wings » Wed Jul 29, 2009 3:11 pm

BIG ORCHESTRAL TRACKS are needed immediately by the Licensing Partner of a Music Production Company that specializes in original music for Film and TV as well as Documentaries. Their clients include FOX TV, ABC Family, E Entertainment, ESPN and many more. They would like to hear instrumentals that have high energy, a good build, and also contains tension/a dark undercurrent of emotion. They gave the film Gladiator as a perfect example of the type of underscore they are looking for – but please don’t send a soundalike, they are looking for original tracks only. Also, please do not use any samples that need to be licensed by a third party. Deals will vary according to project....Only remark:"Didn't quite bust out with the kind of energy needed here."Song: Break Throughhttp://www.taxi.com/wingshttp://taxi.proboards ... 14933Break Through was posted, and Corrected in this thread prior to submitting.http://taxi.proboards.com/index.cgi?boa ... read=14807

Hey Wings,I would agree... it starts off with epic potential but then fades out when you hit 16sec mark, then just goes into a Pirates kind of vibe (if that makes sense)... here's a track that I love from Gladiator that packs punch yet isn't a very complex track...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgCevpO1 ... re=related I have this track on my iPhone (bought an orchestral double album) and this one always gives me goose bumps... it's big, it's epic, it's dark yet has a sense of yearning and hope... the mark around 59sec is where I get goose bumps.Anyways take care dude.B

p.s. halfway through the track it mellows out, but the first half is where you wanna be with it....
