Devin hey, I just wanted to jump in here and commend you for your analysis skills.

This ability to listen to the reference tracks and hear what's close and whats off in regards to the listing request, will serve you well.

Agreed! Picking up on all of those details is impressive.

Jim

Hey Jim,
Glad to hear I was wrong about the tempo change, so you don't have to change that aspect. It is a cool effect to appear to have a tempo change giving more energy into the chorus. Maybe I should have been asking you how you created that effect? ;)

Hey Jay,

Thanks for the compliment. I really appreciate that. I am seriously trying to analyze forwards and returns in order to increase my success. Since the listings and the reasons for returns can be so specific, I appreciate specific feedback on my work, so that is what I was trying to do. I agree with the sentiment that Michael has often stated in Taxi TV: We should try to write for the listings, and create music that people want to use in film and TV, instead of creating whatever we want, and then hoping someone will want to use it.

I actually can't figure out why it appears to have a tempo change. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to undo it with no luck.
