My first impression when I pressed play... Very good production yea!Now it's halfway thru the song... Good vocals... good melody... good guitar sound... nice bassline...Man... for a first track... 8/10 wicked!I especially love the guitar tone... the "The Cure" melodic semi clean lead sound... oh... and very good composition too...-Kel

Thank you very much Kel, I have just joined taxi - must see what the fuzz is about, hehe...I have other tracks waiting to be finished. I actually have had help finishing the production so can't take the credit for that. I like the final result myself as well.Hopeing to do a release of my songs on cd-baby within the next 3 months...

Wow, if this is really your first finished song this is impressive! Good song and good production. The only thing I can say is i think the bass part could be a little tighter with the kickdrum in places-

I have written a lot of songs in the past for my old bands, this is however the first track I have written, recorded and actually finished up as "myself" Started recording a couple of years ago using GarageBand - have since then changed to Logic where I have found a good pattern for me to be writing music.Billg; you are correct about the bass - it's by far my weakest spot in my other arrangements as well... Thanks for the comments...

I like it. I think that Bill has it right on the bass.

Dan,Your voice is a good combination with the spacey guitar sound. It's a pretty sparce mix but works well with this song.Vince

Hi Dan, welcome to the forums.Nice clean production and mix here! I like the guitar part and where it's placed in the mix and your vocal sounds cool. When the song kicks in around 1:00 I'd like to hear another guitar or something in the mix to take up the energy level just a bit. cool hi-hat part at 1:50. hope you don't get hate this band but at times your voice really remind of the singer for Sponge. Nice track!

Thanks guys - it gives me some drive when im going to the studio recording vocals for my next track monday,Never heard about sponge before and just checked it out - i take that as a pretty nice compliment, I like his voice - hehe...I have one other track I have had mastered as well, but the bass on that is horrible, i really hate it, I'm going to redo that - and send it to master in the next batch of tracks im sending this guy helping me out. That's not just the timing it's the musicality of the bass riff...Vince i have to ask you, i tried to figure out what sparce meant, I dont know that word hehe
