mazz wrote:Great job Lydia!! I love that you scored it from the child's perspective, how they get 100% into the game and make it like it could really be a scary thing but it's still playing.

Good orchestration with the different sounds, the voice/breath sounds at the beginning really evoke a ghostly, haunted feeling and the ups and downs in tension were well executed.

Fun stuff!!!!

Thank you Mazz! :) I was especially pleased with the voice/ breath sounds at the beginning so I am glad you noticed. (I used so many in my first version of the score that I had to take some out)

Hey, Lydia....WOWEE! Your music was so suspenseful. The part where the boy was looking at the camera and then a figure appeared briefly behind him made me jump, no lie....that was the part you created great tension. Excellent work all the way through....I'm very proud for you!

I like how the music emphasizes many of the film edits. very evocative. Nice work.

Thank you Chits! :) (I think I jumped every time that came around too even though I knew what was coming.) ;)

Thank you! I did work quite a bit with the film edits. Made me remember the first few films I scored where anything that lined up with edits was pure accident... It was nice to watch this film once I was done with the score and know that I did those things on purpose. 8-)
