Thank you, Marlin! I'm glad to help, even if I'm not really "doing" much!
Cheers, Wes

Any chance that you can explain what you mean by "mangle" the samples? I've only been working with EZ Drummer for about a month and haven't really gone beyond drag and drop. It's cool to know there are other possibilities with it.

The tracks sound great! Congrats!

Sure, Gregg!

Sometimes I take a midi loop or file from EZDrummer and cut it up, moving hits around, use only the high hat portion, or whatever for whatever sample I want to apply it to. Sometimes it's not even drums; it might be a synth or something.

Other times, I'll add distortion to audio sample loops or a filter or delay or whatever. That helps it blend into my tracks and make it "my own" aside from using it "out of the box," so to speak.

Creative ways of "mangling" drums are endless - you just have to dream it up and you can make it happen! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Cheers,
Wes
