how to you sign legally binding contracts online? using electronic pens? or apps? don't really wanna ask the label i'm signing to since it would appear unprofessional :P

1) Adobe Acrobat Pro
2) if on OSX the preview application in versions 10.9.5 and above
3) Docusign
4) Echosign

depending on whether or not its send to you as purely electronic.

In most cases you just follow the directions of whatever is sent to you (via email) like #3 or 4 (or whatever service they use).

If its just a contract sent to you as a PDF, then #1 or #2 works great. Or you can print, sign the paper, and scan the page and sent it back. Because I use a Mac (OS X) I prefer #2 cause it doesn't cost me anything and I can export it as a PDF to lock my signature onto the page incase multiple people are signing.

here are a list of e-signature deals:

Personally, I use http://www.digisigner.com/. The initial trial is free but to have unlimited access, it's $12 per month.
