Hi Richard, Well I think this is excellent! I'm working on one for this listing too (five hours to go....) and as they are so strongly saying that it needs to sound like the "real deal" I think this makes the grade, with the exception of the trumpet at the end, which you're already on to. I think it would be well worth having a real trumpeter do those last few notes and it should get forwarded I would think. I don't think mine sounds realistic enough so far...Good luck with it!Georgie

Richard must be laying an egg here! I gotta jump in and help out". In fact, there's a lot to really-really enjoy in this one: a lot of emotional impact from beginning to end. Some of the lack of realism that others have observed could be improved with some note-for-note critical listening and corrective actions like varations in articulations and humanizing the timing of certain notes here and there. Hiring live musicians is always the ultimate solution to the realism issue, but skill and TLC with the tools at-hand should take this one where you want it to go <IMHO>.So Richard... keep up the good work and keep on growing too. -Allen

I knew it was a little crazy to try to make the deadline on this one since I'm not an especially fast composer. I began working on it about 8pm on Thursday and finished at 7:15am and then had to get ready for my day job (from where I sleepily type this note). I tracked and mixed entirely with headphones (for the neighbors' sake), so I have no idea what it really sounds like. I'll continue to work on it and hopefully make improvements. Richard
