Simple KHz question

Post by PJMack » Thu Oct 06, 2016 9:44 am

Hi everyone,
Is 48 kHz good enough for commercials, or do they always require 96 k.
Thank you in advance

Respect Paul

Yes, 48k is fine. Some publishers might want you to render to 44.1 but most that I work with want 48k, 16b either wav or aiff files. I record at 48k, 24b and render to publishers specs.

+1

actually 48 K is the only standard for music for video. All other formats are converted to that for broadcast.
