Hi Everyone,
I would really appreciate some feedback on my new song 'We HaveToday'.

Comments on the recording/mixing especially welcome and whether or not I am on the right track for the current John Mayer, Ingrid Michaelson, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz listing.
Many thanks

Ian,
It sounds like a nice little feel good song to me. Good job. For the most part I think the mix is OK; I'm not sure about the EQs though. To me the guitar could be brighter and the whole mix sounds pretty mid-rangey. I'm no engineer though and I'm sure someone on this forum could speak to that more intelligently than I. I would take the whistling down in volume at the end and I don't know if you can pitch correct whistling but there are a few notes there that are pretty out of tune. Besides that, it sounds good to me.

Ian! What a nice song. The vocal is just great. A feel-good tune, for sure!
Production: After the acoustic guitar intro, I'd EQ it without so much low end at that point. When the bass comes in, I can barely hear it because of the bottom on the guitar.
Whistling is whistling to me --- it takes on its own sound. Personally, just leave it as is! If you feel it needs tweaking, that's O.K., but it sounds real to these ears!
Very Nice!

Thanks for listening guys.
I'll have a play with the EQ and probably re-record the whistling.
Cheers,
Ian

Nice feel good song.
There is something slighty out of tune and it is not your voice:) Might be a bass note?
Cool vibe
sincerely
