Sober Stats

Post by songmaster » Thu May 02, 2019 3:49 pm

I decided to count up all my submissions in the last 9 years just for fun. Turns out I submitted 255 times and got 35 forwards. Not the best odds. I figured I spent 1275.00 dollars US ( which is 1717.62 ) in Canadian. ( I'm Canadian eh! ). Anyway, I am only doing this because I never did it before and now I realize that I have to be a lot pickier with my submissions. The one good thing I noticed, is that in the last 2 years I have gotten a 75% more forwards, than the first 7 years :) My wife says I would have paid a lot more than that if my hobby was golfing, which made me feel better.

I still renewed my Taxi membership, because oddly enough, I have had a lot of success..so go figure :? :)

Just thought I would share in case others are feeling a little uncertain about all this.

Given your recent succes, I guess there is no point looking back. But it helps to read this as a newbie.

You're right Tom, I shouldn't look back, because as a wise man once said " Failure is the best path to success " or something like that  I'm still having fun at Taxi and that's what counts.
