Sounds Spanish / bittersweet to me. Nice composition. If you submit this recording, like Andy mentioned, you might consider editing those low notes he referred to; that stuck out to me as well, good luck~

As a casual listener, this sounds very nice to me. There is some "Spanish" style riffs in there, but who knows if that will work for the submission or not. IMO, this fits the description of the listing pretty well. If this were to be mixed into a scene behind spoken voices, I don't know if some of the 'flaws' that others have pointed out would be an issue or not. Certainly, when I'm watching a movie or TV program, it is rare that I pay more attention to the music than what's happening in the scene (although I AM affected by the music without actually listening/focusing on it). Good luck with the submission.

This song definitely captures a great deal of emotion. I'd agree with previous comments that it is a melancholy and slightly introspective feeling piece. Very nice song. I too am looking forward to hearing the finished product, as the rough cut is sounding pretty sweet.

You can't make music fun..... It is fun! You can however make it a drag.
