Some help please...

Post by eokamura » Thu Mar 19, 2009 3:40 pm

Howdy allI've noticed that many of you post a link to your songs and they either automatically download to i-tunes or a quicktime player comes up with the song loaded and ready to go. I've just been posting a link to my Taxi homepage and make sure I mention the song title. Would someone be so kind as to educate me on how to create a link that will either create a quicktime player or automatically down load the song to others i-tunes libraries? Thanks for your time, sorry for the ignorance... eo.

This information is from an older document, but it should still be good. Any problems, PM me, and I'll see if I can help.K! I just figured out how you can make a direct link 1. Go to your Taxi Hosting page2. Right-click the play button --> Copy shortcut3. Paste it to a word document (wordpad, notepad, etc.)it looks like this: javascript:playSong("/stream/76828/77WABC.mp3","77WABC");4. Copy the number that comes after the "/stream/" = 768285. Use this as a template: http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... am=trueand replace the zeros with the numberlike this http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... m=trueEasy, ha? And it works like a charm HTH- JH
