You Had a Bad Day - Daniel Powter - Bubble gum at it's finest. He's from my wife's home town, he was a grade behind her. She got to interview him for radio up here. And he was very nice, still!! That song has no guitar(OK, very little), almost entirely produced by him. It is soooo repetitive. And then American Idol picked it up. Cha ching. That is a SUCCESS story. I guess he didn't use the 2nd best way to get his music out.

Quote:From way back, "Rhythm of the Rain". The original version stunk up the joint. But, when Dan Fogelberg got a hold of it, he gave it a soul all it's own.Maybe I just wish I could sing like him!Do you mean the one in the early 60's by The Cascades? I used to have the 45 RPM... I didn't know Fogelberg covered it! Casey

Yeah. You can listen to it by going here: music.yahoo.com/ar-314802---Dan-Fogelberg Sorry. I just prefer his version. I am a bloodhound for finding ways to insult people.

Chistopherscum, nice list, but for someone who listed I'm so lonesome I could cry first (i can't believe i left that one off my list) you went and credited George Thorogood with Move it on over. That is also a Hank Sr. classic.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Move_It_On_Over

Oh!! In response to that, I'd say," My baloney has a first name, it's O-s-c-a-r......"Talk about a song that got stuck in the head!!! And, while we're at it, how 'bout," I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony"?Anybody want to buy me a Coke?
