Sounds like what I experience with My neighbor! My wife is currently in bed crying like a baby over our friend next-door. She's a basket case. I don't know what to do. We can't move, we can't rent our place due to this psychotic.Maybe we'll CAMP for awhile in the mountains! --- Yea, THAT'S the ticket!!!!! Anyone want to cat-sit and enjoy a condo with 2 pools, a jacuzzi tub, and views to die for during early September for FREE?*****************************************BTW, my latest "song" is "Low Rider" by WAR. They play that OVER and OVER on L.A. radio. I like it, BUT --- Ern

Thanks, Suz --- It's been VERY hard. Our consulting psychiatrist has read his emails and has said he's a Paranoid Psychotic. We've been dealing with this for almost 4 years. --- We're suing this poor soul and his wife, but just found out that the case won't come up before a judge until March, 2009. In the meantime, we're trying to get another restraining order, i.e. a preliminary injunction which I hope will be made permanent.********************************************Anyway, back to the topic: "Bali Hai" from "South Pacific" is going now through me pea-brain! "BALI HI"!?!?!?!?!?!?!?I guess I shouldn't complain about an old Cowsills tune, then...

I dread the Christmas season at times 'coz they always play, "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" and I know that song is gonna be stuck in my head for days on end.

OH NO ---- I turned on the UCLA football game vs. Tennessee, and the announcers reminded me of a song. When I was about to move to L.A., it was "Urban Cowboy" time, and I HAD to learn country music to make a buck.Well, my friend asked me if I'd ever heard "Rocky Top." I said "No." So he taught it to me. I played it over and over during solo gigs to make some $$.I TRIED to forget "Rocky Top," but tonight it seems that it is the Volunteers' THEME SONG! --- God, please help me! NOW it's "Rocky Top" that is stuck in my head!AAAAUURGHHH!Help! Ern

Ern,About ten or eleven years ago was playing in a weekend warrior wedding band in Nashville, Tn.Vanderbilt University is in Nashville and is a long time rival of UT.If we played a wedding for a Vandy family, part of the deal was we would not and could not play "Rocky Top"The reverse was true for the UT grad bride and groom. And to think people think that writing music for film and tv entails compromises!!! I'm not going there, 'cause it's gonna make me think of a songI don't like, and then it'll stick in my head!

To my amazement it has only gotten worse. t sounds like some of the officials are now leaning toward him. Anyway they are not actively doing much to relieve you. They may have begun to perceive you and your wife as inveterate complainers. Too bad about your wife's state of mind. A real predicament getting worse. Look for an old fashioned remedy.Well, the preliminary injunction will be filed today or tomorrow. The "Board" is just a thorn in our side --- they don't want to confront Psycho because they're scared of him and don't know what to do other than to placate him. He takes up SO much of their time with emails and phone calls that they just want it to go away. But the legal system will provide justice eventually. --- Believe me, most people whom I've talked to outside of the U.S. would have had this guy tarred, feathered, and run out of town on a rail YEARS ago! --- If someone has a connection with the Gambino family, have them fire me off a PM! Here's hoping for a miraculous -- and peaceful -- outcome. Perhaps his psychosis will mutate into something more mellow and less destructive.Anyway, sending continued good thoughts your way.SuzHmmm, perhaps playing Rocky Top -- or better yet, the Numa Numa Song -- over a loudspeaker for days on end will calm him down . . .might give his brain something new to work one . . . you never know . . . Actually, here's a serious thought: would playing some music recorded with subliminal relaxation messages in it -- not sure if that's a kosher thing to do to someone else, but given the situation, it might be interesting to try . . . !!
