Quote:Quote:Songwriter Home StudiosSee what sucessful indy songwriters are using to get a professional sound on a small budget. Very inspiring. For a while I had twice their gear and couldn't operate anything. Too many manuals to read. Less is more...Let me know what's in *your* studio..Well, I don't mean to brag or anything...Now that's what I call Vintage Analog!

Re: Songwriter Home Studios
Geo here, I have always had korgs (started witha poly 800 and a SQD1? sequencer) now I have a N364 workstation and a D1200 12 track studio (dig). The rest is home stereo equip (plus guitars). I'm feeling the whole "it's what you do, not what you have" vibe and sruggle with mix-downs (effects, levels, etc). If you guys have trouble with your manuels check out www.studiotrax.net/forumsthey have forums for a wide variety of models/makes and the guys are always SUPER HELPFUL!! I'm posting stuff in Peer to Peer so stop by and give recording advice on my mixes. Thanks...Geo
