Anyone help me understand this listing:
CONTEMPORARY INDIE POP SONGWRITERS a la Ting Tings, Owl City, Forever the Sickest Kids, etc., needed by an Independent Record Label/Production/Publishing Company...
How is a 'songwriter' listing any different from a 'song listing'? Can I safely pitch songs to this or are they actually looking to find a songwriter?
Thanks alot

Re: 'Songwriter' listing
Greetings Hay,
I am a songwriter. If the listing says it is looking for "songs" I pitch.
If it says "songwriters" I don't unless it is a publisher looking to sign a staff writer, in that case the listing will say that.
Hope that helps you nail it down.
