Songwriter Lost

Post by Glassctyboy1 » Sun Jan 10, 2010 5:19 pm

I wrote a song that recieves huge attention across the country, and countless downloads on the internet. I can't seem to get the fullest potential of this recording into the right hands for complete output into the industry. What shall I do?

Be patient.
Do a thorough research of labels that would be interested in the genre, and send the song to them.
It´s still in the hands of major labels if the song reaches it´s full potential or not.

Difficult to advise without some specifics; if it's been downloaded so much, perhaps it already fulfilled its potential?

Are you pushing the song yourself or have someone else doing it?
