Songwriting Challenge: New Melody!
On the Just Plain Folks board someone posed a really cool challenge: Take one of your own existing songs, and redo it with an entirely different melody.Anyone feel like playing? What I did was to take my recording of "I Wrote This Song for Cash", pull out all the vocals, and then I recorded a different melody and lyric. (Don't forget to "Save As"...! )Here's the new one, called "The Bad Old Days":http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_so ... 6712624And this is the original song, "I Wrote This Song for Cash":http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_so ... 6175214For anyone in a slump, this is a good way to get your creative juices working again!
