Southern Rock Instrumental return

Hi Lori - I can't help but dig this Skynyrd tribute (which is also the file name).
Yet, the huge issue is this is a dead ringer for "Tuesday's gone." The exact
language this executive has spelled out is as follows: "Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, texture, and tone."

There is fine craft and playing demonstrated here. I don't relish having to return a track that so clearly appreciates Southern Rock. However, it's so key with this Southern Rock pitch, that criteria be nailed to the utmost nuanced degree.
The sound, texture, tone, instrumentation and feel is there. Yet, I don't hear the separation between influence/inspiration and your original work. It's super cool to have the love and respect for Lynyrd Skynyrd, however a line has to be there
that's not (in my opinion).
Keep up the solid work, while proofing the criteria a little bit more. Best of wishes, with your next session.)

pie, have to agree with the screener, too close to the original. if you changed one of the three signature chords, or took it somewhere else on a b section, it would be fine. regardless, nice playing and feel!

Thanks for the comments Rich. With the vocals on it, it really doesn't sound like Tuesday Gone...but maybe as an instrumental it does. My song is just A-G-D over and over again...Tuesday's gone is A-E-F#m-D-A-E-D(Verses) A-G-D(Chorus). So maybe a bit different...I don't know.

Oh well...I'm moving on.
