Stalking NI Komplete 10 with supposed Thanksgiving sale

Post by TimWalter » Tue Nov 24, 2015 1:21 pm

As a newbie to virtual instruments, i heard from numerous sources at the rally that a first good purchase would be NI Komplete 10. At least one person said to wait until around Thanksgiving time when they historically have sales. Well, it is like 2 days till thanks giving and I havent seen any sales yet. I guess I can wait until the infamous Black Friday.. if on Friday morn there is no sale, I might just buy it at the standard price of $499. Do any fellow Taxi members have different/better advice?

Just like to get good deals, like everyone else I guess!!!

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

NI had a 50% off sale at play but it wasn't for the Komplete
Or the Komplete ultimate bundles, nor the upgrades to those.

Bummer I know.

I say bite the bullet and buy NI Kontakt Komplete. Eventually there will be a 50% off sale on upgrades and you can move up to Ultimate. Thats what I did. :)

or just get the full version of Kontakt and do the cross grade to complete ultimate (I did it when it was 50% off too) which was what i did. all depends how much $$$ you have now and how long you can wait.

Yep. Crossgrade pricing is based on regular, not sale price, so you can still net significant savings by buying a sampled instrument or three, even if you have to wait for tax season to pull the trigger on a bigger bundle.
