Steven Slate is awesome as is his SSD4 Platinum Drums!!!

Post by rnrmachine » Sat Dec 31, 2011 1:30 am

Well, I was a beta tester for SSD4 and I just got an email today saying that Jan 2 I will be receiving SSD4 Platinum for FREE!!! Because I beta tested. That drum program IS AWESOME. I loved the beta can't wait to get my hands on the full version. I felt honored to beta test for him AND I am getting SSD4 for free... holy WOW batman...

TY, /cheer STEVEN SLATE, STEVEN SLATE, STEVEN SLATE TY for my best Christmas gift I got (well getting) this year!!!

IF anyone has any doubt on whether SSD4 is an upgrade over SSD3.5 .. let me put them to rest for you. IT IS AWESOME.

I'll toss a link to my latest project with the beta soon. In case some are interested in listening. Maybe toss up a few raw jam clips too.

Hey John, man I would've loved to been in on the beta testing for this, how did that come about anyways? The only thing I ever got to test for free was a spigot for a Mr. Beer Keg  Anyways, still thinking about this upgrade, got my upgrade code but $$ is still kinda hefty, but seems well worth it. You have any tunes you've used them on yet? Would love to hear some samples if ya got em!

Cheers,
Marc

Awesome, looking forward to the clips! I actually went for it and upgraded myself, couldn't wait! Very glad i did too, the interface is awesome and i love how you can drag and drop different kit pieces and it layers them... and the drag and drop mapping feature is super cool too! So far I've only put them on a track that is not finished, but i was going for a Petty kit, and I think it sounds great!

Links taken down... I didn't want to leave unfinished songs on the net.

Hey John, I seriously meant to reply sooner! My day job has been kicking my ass these past couple of weeks and Taxi time, and music time have been hit hard. I did listen through the tracks you posted and I was very impressed, not only by the drum sounds you achieved but also that first song, was that you singing, or someone else? Whoever it was sounded much like Geoff Tate, the vocal was stellar! i appreciate you taking the time for your post, SSD4 sounded awesome!
