Steven, have to say I really enjoyed your story - and your writing! Fantastic thing to happen - but I noted that you worked your butt off for 6 hours and didn't go home for a cup of coffee.... so you really earned it. So, now, as you were busking to earn the money for a Taxi membership, would you say this success was due to Taxi? Georgie

Hi StevenI can only imagine how good that moment on stage must have felt. It doesn't sound like it could happen to a nicer guy. I'm rootin' for you, man!Mewman

Wow....every time someone comes on and whines about how they can't get a break, they should read your story. Thanks for making my day! Best of luck to you in the future.BTW, I have always wanted to see the movie "Once." I am going to Blockbuster today to find a copy.

thank you for the kind words everyone!i just wanted to give you an update on the story.today (oct 19, sunday edition) the boston globe ran an article about the whole thing...http://www.boston.com/news/local/articl ... _flight/if you are so inclined, please leave a comment on the globe's webpage, below the story.if anyone is interested, on my website, i've posted the audio of the whole thing as it happened at the concert.... thanks to an anonymous bootlegger.www.stevenbacon.com/the_glen_pagein other news, i now have a great manager and i'm officially opening for the bacon brothers (actor kevin bacon has a band with his older brother michael).. we'll be playing at a 1,000 person venue in the entertainment complex of the Gillette Stadium in Massachussettes, which is where the New England Patriots football team plays.possible interest from some national night time talk shows, maybe letterman, maybe conan? fingers crossed! (this is thanks to the michael bacon of the bacon bros hooking me up with a big time pr firm in NYC who has agreed to represent me for free...they've worked with U2 in the past!)i'll keep you all up on future developments and thanks for all the kind words,-steven bacon

Just listening now Steven. It's great that you have a record of the occasion!Performance comes across really well.I don't hear any nerves there.Any relation to the Bacon brothers, or just coincidence? All the best for the future.Dave.
