Submit your music to The IndieStreamer

Post by indiestreamer » Wed May 28, 2008 9:32 pm

We're coming up on another Wide Open Weekend where we play nearly anything submitted to us, along with our regular great playlist of 100% independent artists. To submit your songs, visit our website at www.indiestreamer.com. Songs can be sent via snail mail or email, or you can send us a download link. Give a listen to The IndieStreamer and we think you'll be a fan. And be listening the first full weekend of June ... the 7th and 8th for our Wide Open Weekend and hear your songs on The IndieStreamer! Also known as 411Radio, The IndieStreamer plays ONLY indie music in stereo 24/7. Email us at studio@411Radio.us .

No offense, indiestreamer, but I've been submitting my garbage (music) to sites like yours for awhile now. Hours, weeks, months, years on different free sites to 'promote' my music has only cost me my valuable time. IAC, blah, blah, blah to name a few. What do you have to offer more than the other sites that came before you? Charts? Is that it? Well. I've done quite well on some soundclick charts & I've actually had some songs downloaded. At 50 cents (Or whatever it is) I should be rich soon. But, you know what? Soundclick is great because they let me upload as many songs as I like (I think- 55 so far) as a hosting site. So, indiestreamer, what do you have to offer paying TAXI members besides a chance to stare at their own PC at their promo page in bewilderment wondering why their Pay Pal (earlier thread reference) is f*cking empty?I hate this f*cking business,Wade

Well, their web page didn't work, it's just a blank page.

You just gotta look at the site to see that its rubbish. If they haven't put the time in to make the site look good no doubt anything else will be too.

Sorry to hear that Windowman. Sometimes there seems to be no logic to who makes it big and who doesn't. Keep up the positive attitude (and from you picture you're obviously a great looking guy!), and hang in there and who knows what will happen. We'll do what we can to help.Mike PurdyProgram Director, 411Radio ... The IndieStreamerwww.indiestreamer.com

DukeYou're probably right ... the site is pretty much informational and not so artistic. We'll try to do better next time. If you have any links to your sites we'd be happy to check them out for ideas on how to improve ours. We appreciate any feedback on the site or the station. Thanks for stopping by!Mike PurdyProgram Director, 411Radio ... The IndieStreamerwww.indiestreamer.com

Isn't there a policy on this board against advertising products and services?Casey
