Hi all!
My wife recently wrote and home-recorded a CD of Christian themed pop/rock tunes.
I've noticed that many of the listings in the pop, rock and singer/songwriter categories have a boiler-plate description of the lyric requirement that says basically that the words must be up-beat, positive and non-specific. Does anyone know if lyrics with either spiritual or overtly Christian themes would be considered on target for these listings?
From a musical perspective, her tunes don't fit very well into the gospel category (at least based on the listings I've seen).
I know she'd benefit from the critiques she'd get, but I'm trying to determine if TAXI will be conduit for her. Of course, this is predicated on her material being of high enough quality; I just don't want to bark up the wrong tree if she's not a good fit genre-wise for the opportunities TAXI has to offer.
Thanks,
Steve Chapman
