Venturing a guess here . . . I'm gonna say that it's possible that this track didn't have enough "live vibe" for the genre/listing. Everything here sounds very crisp and upfront, so much so that it doesn't have the sense of space and dimension that a live band would have imo. The drums are very "present" which to my ears puts them way out front of the soundstage. I'd try removing some high end from the drums and adding some "room" to them so that they move to the back. A little delay panned opposite of the left & right guitars would give them more impression of space and "bleed", then add more "surf" (spring?) reverb on the main guitar.

It's pretty subjective and mysterious, but I bet if there were a "vibe" box it would get checked a lot!

Hey Andy, That is a buzzin tune.

Recording box checked. I had a listen on the headphones, gonna take a shot at saying it is that the highs on the guitar are making this a tad brittle sounding. Did feel an inch sharper than warmer.

It could be really subtle. Looks like lots got sent in for this one.
Deffo not a melon buster on the return as Taxi musta had lots and lots to choose from, I bet it came down to very minor things .

Sorry if said earlier, just dived in.

Enjoyed it. Good skills

Love it! The guitars sound GREAT to me. It all sounds good fidelity-wise to me, but I agree the drum fills sometimes get just a little distracting? I don't know. Maybe there's a new guy that keeps checking the recording box. :)
