Thanks to Taxi, I've switched recording platforms!! - Now comes the learning curve!Would like to take individual tracks (16) of songs created in Triton Extreme keys/seq and be able to transfer/record and work with them in my Apple Logic sequencer (separately, w/o any midi connections with Triton) Anybody had to do the same in the past?Just trying to get a radar fix!

Re: Switching from Triton Seq. to Mac/Logic
I've done it with other workstations in the past. You'll need a MIDI connection to do it. Put Logic in "slave to MIDI clock" or whatever it's called there. Connect the audio out of the Triton to the audio in on your audio interface for the Mac. Select one track at a time on the Triton (or use separate outputs and assign tracks to them if possible). Enable record in Logic and push the start button on the Triton. Repeat for each track.Another way to go would be to export the sequence from the Triton as a Standard MIDI file and import it into Logic and then do the MIDI connection and trigger the Triton while recording its output in to Logic.Hope this helps,Mazz

imagine if John Williams and Trent Reznor met at Bernard Hermann's for lunch and Brian Eno was the head chef!

Re: Switching from Triton Seq. to Mac/Logic
I think Mazz's latter version is going to be the way to do this. First Logic 8 can not be a slave when it comes to midi clock. It can only be the master. So unless you want to send One channel of audio at a time, you should probably just send the midi tracks to Logic which can put them on different tracks and then send the midi to the Triton to trigger its audio. Unless the Triton has 16 audio outs you are going to be stuck doing one track of audio at a time. The benefit to having the midi in Logic is that you can edit it visually (which is usually easier) before committing to audio. Also since you mentioned you want to do this without a midi connection, you could do this with a USB thumb drive assuming the Triton has this option. I can do this on my Yamaha but I am not familiar with the Triton.
