The only way there is "hiss" on this wonderful piece is if you recorded it in the Garden of Eden, and the snake expressed his or her appreciation of your tune. Which means that only God could hear the "hiss". On the other hand, maybe the TAXI reviewer thinks he or she is a God, deciding the fate of mere mortals. Ott
p.s. Please, don't anyone take this post seriously except for the compliment on the tune.

Thanks again guys, I heard back from head of A&R at Taxi about this. I appreciate knowing that you Taxi forum people are here to help with advice, and also that Taxi will pay attention when there's a problem.

When I commented on hiss, I was trying to find it. It's like when someone tells you there's an image of Elvis on your burnt toast. The power of suggestion will make you see what's not there.
I hope you get success from this and other originals !

Good luck, not that you need it !

Rich.

Hey Casey,
I heard from Robin Frederick directly. She listened to the songs (compared my first one - not linked here - to Gabrielle Roth!) and thought they sounded clean. She spoke with the screener, who has apparently used "tape hiss" in comments before and she had asked him not to. So....anyway....songs still not quite on target, but at least they get a clean bill of health ;)

Thanks, all!
