Top Tier Ad Agency needs INSTRUMENTAL TRACKS for TV Spots for a fast food giant. Quoting NY: "We need tracks that have POSITIVE EMOTION and OPTIMISM. MODERN, COOL, ENERGETIC AND FUN. Preferably guitar-driven, as that's what's been working. Definitely leaning towards the ROCK world. Since this is INSTRUMENTAL ONLY, it shouldn't sound naked and boring without the vocal." Estimated fee is $20,000 all-in for all TV/industrial/internet for one year. Quoting them again: "The tracks CANNOT be dark, angry or aggressive. NOT lighthearted or quirky. We can't have it be too complex." We've also been told that, "It needs to be distinctive in some way. WE DON'T WANT IT TO SOUND LIKE LIBRARY MUSIC." Submit tracks that are a minimum of 60 seconds, but DO NOT take 30 seconds to get to the point. Start giving them the meat and potatoes 4 to 5 seconds into it. Faded endings strongly preferred. IMPORTANT: DO NOT NAME YOUR TRACKS WITH FOOD TITLES! STAY AWAY from titles like "Burger Beat," "Food to Go," "Fast Food Track," etc., and DO give them titles that are generic like, "Crush," "Amped Out," "Hillbilly Heaven"... Ad agencies get turned off by titles that make your work look like Music Library tracks. Broadcast Quality is needed (excellent home recordings are fine). You must own or control 100% of the Master and Composition rights.
