Much appreciated everyone. And a long overdue congratulations on your win Cisko!I have mixed feelings about the next stage of the contest, where I need to rally votes on the JLSC site from March 19 all the way through April 27. People can vote once per day, so I'm going to be REALLY annoying! All will be forgiven should I win. I had another little victory today. My new article on Last.fm was posted on the front page of Music Think Tank. There may be something to this whole blogging thing!http://www.musicthinktank.comBrian.COLOR THEORYelectronic indie piano popBrian Hazard = Color Theorycolortheory@colortheory.comhttp://www.colortheory.com

Wow, Brian. As I mentioned to Cisco a little over a year ago...this is HUGE. Outrageously monstrous recognition. You should be screaming this from the mountain tops. From my perspective, there IS NO single more-prestigious songwriting competition...certainly in the US, and very possibly on a global scale.Congrats, man. Can't wait to hear what's NEXT in store for you.I hope you're celebrating as we speak. If not, you should be.Ted

Re: Taxi member Brian Hazard named Grand Prize Win
Hope I'm not wearing out my welcome here, but on Thursday, the next phase of the contest begins, and I need your help to win it. I'm only up against one other person, so we've got great odds! Whoever gets the most votes on the JLSC web site wins a 1,000 custom CD package from Disc Makers, and a 1 in 12 chance for $20,000 cash!I want to manufacture my next album with that CD package. If you help me win it, I'll include your name in the liner notes as a sponsor. Here's how it works: You're allowed to vote once per day from March 19 through April 27. I'll send you a reminder e-mail every day with a link to the voting page. Click the link, click to vote. Two clicks. After the initial registration, it shouldn't take more than 10 seconds a day. Will you do it? Brian, I signed up but never received the confirmation email. Must be something with my junk mail setting but I can't figure it out. Could you add my email to the list? I would love to help you out here. Your song is wonderful and I think you deserve to win!My email is lydia@lydialashton.tvThanks,Lydia

It's very well produced, and the synth sounds are awesome! A little 80s feeling in a modern production. Congrats again!
