Hey All,Sorry for the delay on the deals! Was stuck in traffic.... Nah, but seriously, still going through 150 deal e-mails, I have some catching up to do. I never grow tired of hearing them though! After posting your deals here on the forum, don't forget to e-mail them to ');// -->deals@taxi.com.Congrats to everyone here in the month of February! Keep up the amazing tunes guys! Member Deals 2/1/09 – 2/28/09Ruth Brock (California)-Ruthie’s band Gold Hill recently received a royalty check as a result of one of their songs being placed during the GAC cable network show, The Grand Ol’ Opry Live!, one of the most popular television programs in country music today reaching more than 39 million households. Ruthie mentioned that this placement was a result of attending the TAXI Road Rally.Ruthie’s band also signed 17 songs with a very successful Music Publisher that has placed many TAXI members music in major film and TV projects as a result of handing a CD to the president of this company at the TAXI Road Rally. And as a result of a forward to a west coast Music Licensing Company/Library through TAXI, 14 Gold Hill songs were picked up.“Thanks to you guys, we had our ducks in a row. These are opportunities we never would have had, being a band of 50-somethings and not being commercially viable. So thanks for everything!”David Chong (Hawaii)-David Chong, TAXI member since 1998, recently reported that his song “Walk On Out The Door” was placed in the ABC daytime soap opera One Life To Live as a result of a forward through TAXI years prior. That was the first money I ever made with my music. Thank you Taxi!!”Patrick Rydman (Sweden)-Patrick reports that his Jazz song “The End of the Rainbow” was placed in the February 12th episode of the NBC comedy series, Kath & Kim. This was the result of a forward through TAXI to a Music Publisher that specializes in Film/TV placements.“TAXI had forwarded some of my songs to ****, and they wanted to hear more. In the end they signed almost all of my Jazz material in a non-exclusive deal (using re-titling). Now, one of my songs, "The End Of The Rainbow" just got aired in the NBC comedy show Kath & Kim! You need a few things to succeed: talent, patience, persistence and someone like TAXI to connect the dots. Thank you!”Alfred Gruber (Washington)-Alfred recently updated us on his previous connection through TAXI with a Los Angeles based Commercial and Production Music Composer who runs a Music Library. So far Alfred has published 10 songs with them, and the Production Music Composer is now actively pitching his music to Cable TV Music Supervisors. OK, I'm a newbie to the forum, so this is probably a newbie question... Why do the "member deals" stickies stop at February, when it is May now? Thanks for your time!

Hi tower888,Welcome to the forum! Not a newbie question at all.The reason why the deals are a few months behind on this forum is because I'm still playing a little catch up on the 150 deal e-mails I'm going through. Simple as that really. But I will be posting the March and April deals soon enough. The May deals will be posted hopefully sometime in the beginning of June once I have finished writing them all. Thanks for your post, and be sure to keep an eye out on the updated deals. You can also view the few that we post here every month on our Success Stories page on TAXI: http://www.taxi.com/abouts/successdeals.htmlDavid LaidlawManager, Dispatch818-222-2464deals@taxi.com

Happy 2010! Since these are so far behind, perhaps you should start again at "zero". Just start with 2010 deals?
