Taxi Podcast?

Post by rmarler » Wed May 13, 2009 8:51 am

One thing I love about CD Baby is the CD Baby DIY Podcast. Each new Episode is packed with great topics and guests. Great for marketing advice and such. But what I would love to see is a Taxi Podcast that would focus on developing our craft. Where Taxi insiders could speak on topics specific to getting forwards. There could be interviews with mentors and speakers from the Taxi conventions, industry insiders, round table reviews of member submissions ..ETC.Taxi has the connections, and what a service this could be to all of us.Just a thoughtRonnie

Might be nice to organize a YouTube channel, and have as many passengers as wish to do so video blog from the conference.

A TAXI podcast is a great idea. [Don't think it would work for 'broadcasting the rally' - which takes place in 12 or 15 different venues over the course of 3 days. I believe this was tried some years ago and was found to be too expensive to warrant the expense.]

But if enough Taxi-ites video blog from the conference, everybody back home gets some flava, and it's free. The tricky part is in organizing it all in a single youtube channel; either everything has to be run through a central clearinghouse (a not-half-bad idea, lends an aspect of quality control) or every blogger would need keys to the channel. (doable, but an invitation to difficulties, if not disaster)
