One tries to be professional, but you still don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. If you send your song to taxi, and you don't get forwarded, you always have in the back of your mind the screener might have errored in some way.I would like to see a thread called "anonymous evaluation" be created. That way you would have one more tool to identify your song's value. Just a simple form ( less detail than taxi's)This way you could get an "honest" opinion of your project. Only negative problem, if you only received a 6.6 average, you might not decide to submit a song? You would be however getting a multifaceted unbiased evaluation rather than from just one screener.Jumped the thread, I know, Just trying to figure out a better way?I love all you guysPaulThis is a fantastic idea! A blind review process! I'm off to build it!

"You know what? They aren't going to listen to your ideas. Not because your ideas may or may not be good ones, but because they are not advertising the service you are looking for; it isn't what they do."Well gee Anne, thanks for speaking for the Taxi staff. If I ever have any other ideas I'll be sure to run them by you first.

Hey, we're getting along like a house on fire here (you know, screams, yells, jumps from third floor windows, desperate firefighters, frenzied paramedics, and an ever-growing audience of onlookers, police haven't cordoned it off yet..). So not to throw more flames on the flames, but...Taxi has a big spectrum of users. Now me, yes the ego has to be sizeable to even join Taxi, but I know my music composition and production is not up to the point where I can reasonably query a screener or demand credentials beyond what I already signed up for. I know lots of you are there. I'm not. So for someone swimming around the bottom of the film/tv music pool, desperate for a few filter-fed crumbs left by the biggies, the worries are very very different from those expressed here by top feeders. People, I would kill do something dramatically unreasonable just to even see 9's in my reviews. I'm reasonably satisfied with the service I get for the money I am paying (which has just doubled thanks to slipping currencies). I suspect I'm more of a sample of the Taxi wannabes who probably make up the majority of Taxi income than the consistently top raters who are chasing high bar listings. Seriously. So for a lot, probably the majority, of Taxi's members, the worries expressed in this thread are not an issue...

I hope to meet you soon.I'm not speaking on Taxi's behalf, and I think you know that. I meant only that posts on a board aren't going to institute great change. Talking to the guy who owns the company would give your ideas a better chance of being listened to.Its only my experience that talking to the person who can actually make a change is the best way to get something done. Tea, anyone?

Hi Aub Delane Sorry guy for the sarcastic response to your post. It was uncalled for. Just seemed like the whole forum was ganging up on me that night and I wrongly lasted out at you. sorry guy. Hi Stephen Whats up good to see ya if any body can figure it out you can. Sweet Ann I don't know what to say to you. Sorry you fell so threatened by other peoples ideals or suggestions no need running us down and calling us whiners for stating our concerns and ideals. We pay our dues the same as you. The forum is set up for us to formulate our ideals to talk and ask questions without getting slammed for it. I have not heard anyone saying anything against Taxi,it's staff or screnners. Billg I think you have been the most open level headed person of all on this threadyou even contacted Taxi to make the suggestion. I think you and squids are the only two people that didn't slam me. Take care my friendHey Flying Tadpole Please don't feel like your a bottom feeder. and you are right the whole world won't fall apartif we never no who critiques our music. They are doing a great job helping all of us even some of the heavy hitters you were talking about. I just simplily thought it would be better at least for me to know who was reviewing my music it was not in any way an attact on anyone. Take care mild Bill

Dang, can I be a nanny and scold everyone here for this thread gettin' out of hand in places? No doubt, when I express my opinions in a passionate way, I sure get enough grief for it. See how freakin' annoying it is!Signed, Hall Monitor. Carry on.

I can assure you I'm not threatened in any way; I'm just voicing my opinion. My patience has been lost because of the excessive whining that has been on the boards for the last 6-8 months or so that I was referring to, not to any one person's post specifically. I also don't need to defend Taxi - I'm just a paying customer like all of you. Taxi is what it is. That is basically all I was trying to say. Hall-monitor Chits will scold if I continue.

Actually, my point is Anne, I don't care if you guys fight to the death, hehe. I have faith things will all work out in the end anyway, so I don't wanna be a hall monitor...I'm just amused when other not so firey threads get monitored that are much more tame than this one. I believe in freedom of speech, so let it rip. I like the controversial threads...they're fun sometimes. So I'm PRO debate on this.
