Does "pending" mean that it has not been listened to yet? Silly question, I know, but I didn't know if it means anything other than that it is still in line for review.I didn't know if it also could mean "hmmm, that was good but I'm not sure if its what they need so I'll give it another listen later...."Stats:7 forward7 return2 pending0 deals through Taxi yet . Our forwards are all withing the last 2-3 months (after going to the rally and learning so so so very much!).

So what did you do to increase your forwards? Is it how you target your submissions or something else; maybe a combination of things? This is exactly why i'm determined to make it to Road Rally this year! Dave

I think one of the best things was to read the board for other people's forwards. When they have a forward, read the listing they were submitted to and then listen to their song. After a while it makes sense. Also, spend some time doing research to listen to the artists or songs mentioned in the listings.I sent you a PM with more info -- hope it helps!

I've been on board for 10 months (this time around!). My Score;42 submissions9 forwards2 pending0 dealsI don't know if anyone else is in this situation, but I have a tough time knowing when a song is right for a particualr listing because most of my good songs seem to fit several genres (maybe) or fall through the cracks & don't fit anywhere. One of my songs (link below) has been forwarded for listings in country, mainstream rock, Americana, and as part of a montage for a roots-rock listing. I also signed a non-exclusive licensing agreement for this song outside of Taxi because the interested party thought the chorus would be great for a lot of different situations. The song has been returned quite a bit also which makes me feel like it's not genre specific enough for those listings. I know it's not cool to "spam" the listings but sometimes, for me anyway, i have to go out on a limb because there's just no telling what genre some of tunes fall into.here's the linkhttp://www.broadjam.com/transmit/transmi....9860&yhgbndsq=1

I got 3 forwards last week so I'm now up to: 75 submissions(more than 50, less than 100)7 forwards1 pending0 deals YET, but expecting 100's soonI really hope the new Taxi music site will include the game stats we're all talking about there. Much more than just what's currently available on BJ.
