So many heartfelt hugs and laughs and warm wishes this year.

But two stand out for me:

ONE: Thursday night when I arrived in the lobby, a certain library owner / daytime TV music provider greeted me with a big "Carla!", then a hug, and then, "Did you read the contract? Does it make sense? Do you want to join the team? [yes, yes, and **** yes] Welcome!"

TWO: Sunday night, after a fantastic group dinner, I walked by Michael and Big Blue, who were deep in conversation. But Michael saw me and grabbed me, gave me a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. The joy on the man's face -- huge, unstoppable, REAL.



He does this unbelievable stuff for us!

A couple of years ago, I didn't know what a music library was. Now I'm in some really good ones. Brings tears to my eyes.

Thank you all so much. You are most certainly the reason we work so hard and it's great to know that what we do has such a real impact on your lives.

It was wonderful to see and meet so many of you. Not too many heads of companies with clients all over the world ever get to meet and know so many of the people they serve. I feel exceptionally fortunate that at least once a year I do. And while our members come in all different shapes, sizes, musical genres and goals they want to achieve, you all have at least one thing very much in common; you're really good, nice people.

My staff members were all delighted to have so much face time with so many of you, as was I. You guys and gals are the best!

If Michael Laskow sees this: I'm the big guy you told that it could about 10 years to achieve success. I didn't get to say this before, but I wanted to thank you for your honesty. I have to be realistic in my goals and what I need to do and I appreciate the remainder. This was at the 2011 Road Rally at which I had a great time.

I also wanted to thank you for an enjoyable convention in 2012. It was a lot of fun and I think what I've learned there should helpful in my music.

I look foreword to it next year.
