...I've just got in to Minnesota where my brother lives. I'm in the States for another 5 nights before I head home totally fired up about music. I hightailed it to San Diego to a hostel on the beach for 2 nights hoping for some health and rejuvenation and found myself quickly subsumed into a group of 20-something revellers

I had hoped this Rally would be a transformative experience and it was that. In every respect it surpassed my expectations. Meeting all my forum buddies and the many more I made (there are too many to mention, you know you you are!) was amazing. I can see life-long connections formed. There are new business / songwriting connections I'm already excited out and some great advice and insight that I'm taking home from the mentoring and classes. I felt almost instantly at home at the Rally. It's easy to feel isolated trying to do this music thang.
Really great to meet you all and I look forward to working and interacting with you going forward. The Rally was finished off in style with an impromptu session in the lobby very late on Sunday eve / Monday morn - the sound of John Lewitt belting out 'Running To Stand Still', one of my fav U2 songs, is still in my head.
Once I trawl through my business cards I'll in touch properly.
Thank you Michael, Taxi and my new friends for your guidance, good vibes and great 'craic' (which means fun in Ireland). You're an inspiration. Looking forward to next year already.
