Thanks Vince!
I just got this song signed with a very good company thanks to Vince's production . . . So Thanks Vince! I received a pm from Vince offering to mix this at just about the same time I was getting a rejection because of the production-I had posted up Vince's "mix in progress" so I thought it only fair to post up the mix that got the deal! The person that signed it really seems to like the song a lot-http://www.billgaunce.com/song/120

Really nice. I liked this the first time you posted it, and I'm liking it even more now. Great work and kudos to the both of you.

Re: Thanks Vince!
I was drawn to this song by the tenderness in Bill's vocal on the demo--something I hadn't noticed in his previous posts--and the pure quality of the song itself. It was a pleasure to assist on the production and play/sing along with his tracks. The company that signed it is a pretty major player and I think this song could get heard by a lot of people (no jinx). Congrats Bill!Vince

Re: Thanks Vince!
Thanks folks! Yeah, this is a good company and the pres. seems to really like the song, he used the "G" word (as in Great) so that's encouraging.I don't know if it's a coincidence or what but the last three out of four songs I've been able to sign have at first come back with a "love to sign this song but first you need to_______." And this is with different companies! I'm used to no reply (most of the time) and the occasional "good job, contract attached" if I'm lucky. The other two were easier fixes, this one was more of a challenge and Vince came through!
