That’s Not How I See It ©2016 Robert George BMI
Well, I saw you running with your puppy on the shore
Then I saw you reading poetry beneath a sycamore
And I knew my dreams would always draw
Pictures of the magic girl I saw
Because all my days were shadow
Until your love shined
You were like the rarest diamond
Loneliness could find
Yet ev’ry day people say love is blind
And that’s how you fall
But don’t look now, cos that’s not how I see it
That’s not how I see it at all
O I saw you near the funhouse at the harvest fair
And I saw the sunlight lay a gold tiara on your hair
Deep within the things my heart was shown
That is where the seed of love has grown
Because all my days were shadow
Until your love shined
You were like the rarest diamond
Loneliness could find
Yet ev’ry day people say love is blind
And that’s how you fall
But don’t look now, cos that’s not how I see it
That’s not how I see it at all
Then one day you took a walk with me
And somehow we saw eternity
Lady, all my days were shadow
Until your love shined
You were like the rarest diamond
Loneliness could find
Yet ev’ry day people say love is blind
And that’s how you fall
But don’t look now, cos that’s not how I see it
That’s not how I see it at all
O ev’ry day people say love is blind
And that’s how you fall
But don’t look now, cos that’s not how I see it
That’s not how I see it at all
That's Not How I See It
