Hi, Ursula! Not sure what you mean by "bagging", did you perhaps mean begging? Also, in English, we would more likely say "let go of" than "open hand of". Another subtle difference between what you've written and more common usage is that "begging for some time" might be a bit clearer than "begging for sometime". I like where you're going with this, though. Not many breakup songs are written from this perspective.

Thanx again! UVI was wondering about that..... I've noticed in some Spanish language music the end rhymes aren't as important as the "flow".... be interested to hear this when it's done...Peace, Geo

Well, Portuguese and Spanish are similar, but not the same!...... I don't understand what they say, unless they speak slowly and vice-versa...... I don't know much about their music, but the end rhymes in portug. language music are as important as the flow..... all the best! UV

You have a great voice Ursula, nice lyric. I like the "Forget it all" I think that suits this lyric and I'd keep writing along those lines. You could write the verses around the details of this relationship, perhaps in a sarcastically positive manner and the drive it home (really get your point across), with -"Forget it all" yeah! I like that Hope you post the full song when it's finished.Linzi
