promise me that you will draw the contours in your hand for like 15 minutes, it was such a huge turning point in my life in general, being able to shut all the thoughts down and just drift, and you can get hit with so many ideas, it even makes you more balanced as a person, as its a form of daily meditation

OK I'll be honest, I didn't draw - I didn't know whether I was supposed to draw on paper without looking or actually draw on my hand...either way it was going to get messy! So today I sat for about five minutes (which is a long time looking at ones own hand). Interesting stuff, lots of lines, not too many creases...yet! I even noticed an old knife scar and it started to hurt me again Then I got caught so I dropped my hand and carried on with what I was originally doing...writing!Which brings me to the fact that something seems to have stirred! Usually it would be the spoon in my coffee (green tea) cup but this time it was more of a brain thing. Great news! I'm not back in full swing yet but I fetched out an old scrap book and pieced a couple of verses together that might even make sense...Also came to the conclusion that "WB" could either stand for - Writers Block OR Welcome Back...which I much prefer. Thanks

sweet, yeah just on scrap paper, but yeah, itll switch over and then generally you will have a few flashes of ideasits always like that tho, even when youve done it a bunch, you always start with the "this is retarded" mentality, cause your logical side always hates you switching over

Re: The dreaded WB...
Lol Geoff, thanks Yep I can relate - I have a sweet tooth, I feel the need to run/jog. So my plan - dunk donuts - burn em off again! Without music and the means to write I would be so empty (just wouldn't realise it)! When I had those few empty days I felt as though I'd lost the ability to carry on...and then it came back again I think next time it happens (because I'm sure there will be a next time)I am going to embrace it and relax. Switch off for a couple of days, possibly sleep a little more! Soak up some good films and dig into the book I still haven't managed to finish!Being as I have this precious gift I'm going to just let it take control, if I can't find the right words I'm not going to look too hard for them, they'll probably hit me in the face a couple of days later!Dunkin donutsA fast runWith your ipod and fat bumWriters block A Warner Bro's filmIn the end It's all good fun Thanks again
