I just joined TAXI and am tiptoeing into the community. My daily life is that of a seasoned IT Director and equity partner of an IT firm, as well as a dad and husband. But in the 1-3hrs per night that I get after bedtimes, I nerd out with audio gear and produce music. It’s been a hobby off and on for the last 20yrs, but the last ~5yrs have brought considerable growth and capabilities to my little home studio.
I tend to produce progressive metal guitar stuff, hip-hop/trap beats, atmospheric EDM… and quite often experiment with unholy blends of all three!

I’m entirely self-taught, tho I have spent some time looking over shoulders of friends at pro studios and live gigs. Reading, YouTube vids, discussion, and trial-and-error have been my primary instruction. Now that I’ve figured some things out, got some decent gear, and filled my hard drive with a few hundred sessions, I feel like I’m ready for the challenge of “producing on demand.” Hence, TAXI.
I really love music and learning better production, so I’m hoping this first year in TAXI will be a new and fun challenge that will improve my craft.
Anyways, I’ve probably already written more than most will read… so I’ll end the intro there. Looking forward to starting this adventure with everyone.
Cheers!
