I have a pair of these, the passive models. They now make active models and in different colors.

I've been looking at these for some time - but I wish they would sell them as singles. I would like just one - most of the stuff I read says you should use them as a single speaker. I know you can listen in mono (which I do) or put them one a top the other, but I wonder why not sell them separately?

I use a couple cheap, JBL computer speakers to check my mixes - no ports, 1 driver so no crossover... - they work pretty well. Not sure they work as well as these.

Mazz - how do you have them set up? Mono, next to each other, spread apart...

They are sitting on top of my main speakers running in stereo.
