Theremin sample pack recommendations?

Post by phustedt1 » Fri Aug 26, 2016 8:15 am

Hi Forum

I have a project that I'm working for that is looking for some theremin style sci fi music. Any good recommendations for theremin samples/plugins etc... that you have used. Looking for as realistic as possible not hybrid sounds.

I bought this last year and love it.

I used it on this track that was forwarded to an exclusive library.

I just found out the "theremin" on the Beach Boys' "Good Vibrations" wasn't really a Theremin. They couldn't get enough control over the pitch wobble, so they faked it. I tend to dislike sampled phrases, I'm old school, so I draw a line at sampled instruments, all of which is by way of saying, here's another way to get great theremin sounds: http://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/moog-theremini
